Department Of Nutrition and Dietetics

The department of nutrition and dietetics, founded by Sara Hussam RD was initiated in September 2020. Our department holds great pride in performing our duties warm-heartedly. ​​

Nutrition is indeed the key to a person’s health and SMBBIT is working everyday to ensure that our patients never lack in this component. By doing so, we not only make sure to provide a healing environment but also motivate the patient to get up on his feet after suffering through trauma.

Along with regular visits and patient checkups, Sara Hussam and her team also arranges awareness programs for both staff and faculties. The concept behind such events is to refresh the knowledge of basic nutritional values and to encourage our staff to imply them in their practice.

We firmly believe that complete healing cannot be achieved without balanced nutrition. And as the department of nutrition and dietetics, it is our responsibility to provide our patients at SMBBIT with this fundamental requirement.
