The Department of Clinical Psychology was established in 2020 to fill the post- trauma mental health care gap. The department has a holistic approach to diagnosis and testing for latent pre-existing psychiatric and psychological illness in incoming patients and exploring the domains of developing psychopathologies in long-term patients at the institute.
The department hopes to extend its services in the future to its patients and staff through novel approaches using ART therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, and qualified and standardized diagnoses, testing, and treatment.
Our aim is not just treatment but to organize and conduct research to understand the complicated nature and work of the human mind in conditions of trauma, patient care, and post-op and post-hospitalization impact.
