It operates 24/7 and responsible for receiving, storing, processing, distributing and controlling the professional supplies and equipments (both sterile and non-sterile) for all departments as well 15 functional operation theatres in SMBBIT for the care and safety of patient under strict Quality Control.
The decontamination and sterilization process is performed by an experienced team. In 2019, Sterile Services Department (SSD) processes 66, 5415 surgical items in SMBBIT.
